Why chiropractic care for your children will improve their health and overall wellness
It’s no secret that regular visits to the chiropractor can vastly improve your health and overall wellness. But chiropractic care is not just a service for adults – children also receive excellent benefits from chiropractic care on a regular basis.⠀⠀
As adults, we can feel when our bodies aren’t functioning as they should or normally do. Perhaps we suffer from neck pain, shoulder pain, dizziness or poor posture. Did you know that children and infants may also experience dysfunction within the body that can affect their ability to learn and grow?
As children grow and learn new skills, their brain is rapidly developing and forming new pathways and connections to facilitate this to happen. This means that your child develops confidence in enhancing their abilities which can include balance, smoother movement, pain awareness, sensory perception and communication.
This can also mean that aspects of their general daily activity can test the developing brain and become more susceptible to stressors, such as falls and injuries.
Sometimes through these periods of growth it can also disrupt the sleep cycle of your child if these issues do not get addressed which can lead to a cascade of other physical and emotional upsets.
Here at Fremantle Chiropractic we are hear to listen to you and your child at any stage of their development. We provide safe, gentle and specific care for your child at any age – Just ask us how!
